DAY THREE

For our final day in Vancouver we decided to tackle the two most famous tourist spots in the area – Capilano suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain.

The entrance to Capilano was crazy busy with lots of queuing but we did get a chance to learn about the first peoples of Canada and see some beautiful story poles (and also learned not to call them totem poles!)

On the suspension bridge, Iain got to use the selfie stick he had bought for the trip. Cai got to pretend she wasn’t with him.

Later in the afternoon, we caught the cable car up Grouse Mountain with some SPECTACULAR views. Iain even shot a little video to try to capture the experience of travelling up the mountain.

While on to top of Grouse Mountain, we took some pictures of the falcons and the grizzly bears…

…we also took pictures of each other…

…and then we ended the day with an amazing meal in the Observatory on Grouse Mountain. We took pictures of that too.

And throughout it all, Cai was wearing some very pink trainers.
